Making a Difference

Our son was a preemie… born at just 25 weeks! As a result, he had many complications that slowed his growth and development. He had difficulties with balance, which made it hard for him to walk and unable to play well with other children. Then, at six years of age, he was diagnosed with Autism. Once enrolled in a medically complex children’s program managed by Community Health Solutions, his Care Manager spent hours working with us and his physicians to improve his health and quality of life.

The Care Manager arranged for him to begin receiving care closer to home, including water therapy. Thanks to the Care Manager, our son is now not just walking, but thriving! His newly found confidence has helped him improve his social skills as well. Additionally, we’re thankful to have found a wonderful Autism support group that’s making another positive impact on his life.

We don't know what we would have done without the tremendous outpouring of care and concern, not to mention the expertise of the staff at CHS! We can't thank you enough for all you have done for our beautiful son!
