The Concept of Loyal Opposition

The Concept of Loyal Opposition is based on the premise that the boss doesn’t know it all – neither does anyone else. Through the process of hearing all sides and everyone expressing their views, even though they are in opposition to the boss, the best decision will be made. Needless to say, everyone including the boss has to acknowledge the concept.

The encouragement of loyal opposition carries with it the understanding that what is said will not be held against an individual, a grudge will not be kept, and there is an honest need to hear all sides in order to make the best decision.
